Jamal our waiter was great!! His suggestions to our tastes were spot on. The gator bites, large portion. We had them blackened. Nice spice to them. A cup of gumbo and shrimp etoufee as sides with our half rack of ribs. The gumbo to me had a better flavor than the others I had in the Quarters. The place was nice and was one of the more enjoyable evenings out. There menu section looked great, but a person can only eat so much.

Having seen this on Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares we had to check it out. Mike was our friendly waiter and did a fine job. I’d rate this as a pub meal if I was back home. Ribs were good as was the gumbo, dishes came quickly and were well presented. All the staff were polite, welcoming and attentive. Worth a trip if you’re looking for somewhere reasonably priced and not fancy.

We binge ate here and loved every bit. Oysters Rockefeller were delectable, and so were the red beans and rice. The bread pudding made me slap my mom. Love the casual, fun atmosphere with the 5 star food!!!

First time at Oceana Grill I ordered "A taste of New Orleans", which was recommended by the waitress Natalie. She was very nice and attentive. The meal was very good and fresh. I also tried the grilled oysters with their famous sauce for the first time, which was very tasty
The food was impeccable, I couldn't stop eating even though my stomach told me to stop. The atmosphere felt like a throwback from an old movie set. I am enjoying New Orleans food. It took me 12 years to get back here but better late than never thumbs up in every way.

We were visiting NOLA with family 2 weeks ago and decided to stop in here for lunch. It was recommended to us and we were NOT disappointed. The food and service were fantastic! Marlon, our server, was awesome. He provided us with great and prompt service. The moment we walked in the door (we had kids with us too) we felt extremely welcome. We ordered a variety of items from the menu and everything tasted fantastic. Po boys, fried catfish, seafood platter, red beans and rice-- you name it, it tasted great! Thank you so much!
