Delightful! It's also one of a few places left that will turn men away if they don't have a collared shirt on, so be careful.
The duck is tasty.

Food was well prepared and good quality, however the presentation was severely lacking. For example, order the broccoli, and they give you a whole head of broccoli ($5). The presentation of the main dish consisted of 2 lamb chops with a little dish of sauce on a large white plate ($44). The french bread and butter at the start of the meal was pretty bad. The french bread was cold, and the butter was room temp and did not melt on the bread. Eating cold bread with hard lukewarm butter is not the type of dining experience anyone wants to have. The problem with the food was that it was too simple and basic for the high price.
The dining room needs to be fixed and cleaned. The ceiling fans had spider webs and dust. The mirrors had fingerprints. Some of the light fixtures around the room were broken or bent upwards. I am not sure if this is the atmosphere the owners are going for or not...
The service was excellent, professional, and kind. The food came out from the kitchen in a timely manner. The wait staff was great at filling glasses/cups and taking plates/silverware away on time.
This place was too basic, and dirty for the price. 3rd star was because the wait staff was amazing, otherwise this place was a 2 star.

It's expensive. It's loud. It's pretentious. And it's the most glorious Friday lunch I've ever had. If you want to see and be seen in New Orleans, enjoy a true liquid lunch and have a blast with your friends, this is the place to go. You'll have a tough time getting a reservation. You'll have a tough time figuring out what's going on while you're there. You'll never regret it and never forget it.

A superlative meal in every respect - apps, entrees, sides, desserts. Expensive, but you don’t come here to save money, and one of the rare examples of getting that for which you pay. Excellent wine list, and our choice did not disappoint. Service was among the best we have encountered anywhere. The only negative was saying goodnight. If I could afford to eat there every night - flying down from NYC and back - I would do it. This is not the last time I will visit.

We have been there before so not a hater but there was so much salt in the food we could not finish it...the crab cakes were super salty, the buttered mushrooms were crazy salty and the filer, although not as bad, was loaded w salt. It is a fun place but we will not go there again. A staple of the French Quarter needs to re-evaluate their chefs.
