The food was bland, the service was subpar. I wouldn't call this authentic food on any level. He should of took the British chef's opinion.

As always, Chappy's cuisine was superb. His wait staff, excellent, wife list is sufficient and not overly priced. The ambiance was exceptional. He has brought old New Orleans charm to Nashville. My wife and I go there on special occasions, and the enjoy everything about the experience. Chappy's should be noted as one of Nashville’s finest.

This is a Cajun styled restaurant with a huge variety of menu choices...some more adventuresome, some more basic, if the thought of eating anything containing alligator bothers you. The restaurant was very quiet the evening we were there, but it happened to be the night that Nashville had just experienced some pretty severe storms. There was a large open area in addition to individual "rooms" where the 7 of us just fit perfectly.There was also a room that could handle private parties of about 50 or so. The service was very good and everyone went away more than satisfied with their meal. I would definitely recommend a trip to Chappy's if you are in the mood for a little New Orleans and can't make the trip!
