The only drawback is there isn't a bathroom but there are very nice restrooms in the coffee shop that is right next door! Win.

Good neighborhood park. For the area it's nice

Kids Playground in the corner lot at Verret and Pelican in Algiers Point, two blocks from the Mississippi River levee, where one can see the best view of New Orleans without a helicopter.
Climbing, swinging, and discovery in the playground for the little ones. Rubber deck around the equipment, and some grassy spots for good old running around. Yes, some shade trees. Beautiful Unique Art Fence keeps the toddlers inside. Picnic tables for those birthday parties. A couple of steel Art Benches. Bring a cushion for sitting longer than 5 minutes.
Some days I've seen more than a dozen adults with toddlers all interacting. It's a happy place.

Super cute fenced in park. Tons of random toys to play with. We always have a good time when we take our daughter.

This area over by the point is always so clean and quiet. It's pretty historic and used to be a gas station my mom remembers from her childhood
