This is a fabulous place to watch the river away from the clamor of tourists. Locals still call it "The Fly" and it was on Google maps that way until recently.

Located right behide the Audubon Zoo, it's a nice place to relax and enjoy a view of the Mississippi River.

One of my favorite places to hang out! The fly is a great spot to bring a blanket and relax while enjoying views of the mighty Mississippi River. I love to pick up po-boys and a Daiquiri and have a picnic here. Also a good place to catch lizards ;)

My girlfriend, her dog and I walked up and down The Fly and it was nice until we saw some younger kids huffing dusters. It's a nice, beautiful area but the druggie need to be pushed out.

Great park along the river, it is surprising how many people in the city actuality never been here. It could use better upkeep at the water edge. Great sports for the kids and wonderful open spaces to relax.
