It is a phenomenal experience - now I know why the locals love this restaurant. The food was devine and the service was exceptional. Better than being in the French Quarter.

Thanks to Yelp for helping me find this place. We just arrived in NO from a road trip starting in WI.
This is a nice, quaint spot. Street parking is your only option so take some time to get their early.
The chicken n biscuits was a good pick. It felt like I received two chicken breasts which was a lot of food. The chicken was a crisp, golden brown and the batter felt light and delicious. You can add an egg at an additional cost, and trust me, you want to. A runny egg over this bad boy will make you want to try and finish it all. I really enjoyed this.
My friends had other dishes here and they all looked very delicious.

Outstanding food. Marginal service. Waiter kept forgetting our order. Came back three times to ask about drinks. We had to constantly ask him about the wine we ordered. It was 30 minutes before he finally served the wine we had ordered shortly after being seated. If we had received good service I would rate it 5 stars.

I went here for brunch and had an awesome experience. I had the gumbo as an appetizer which was excellent and the chicken and biscuits as an entree which was good. I felt the batter for the chicken could have been seasoned a little better but overall, very good experience. Service was also very good!

I highly recommend making a reservation. I was a party of one and waited 40 minutes. The rain made the wait longer since no one could sit outside. Once the rain stopped I was offered a spot outside and enjoyed the bagel sandwich. To my surprise the pepper jelly was delicious. The hostess was sweet, wait staff attentive and my meal amazing.
