After being diagnosed this past week I have found the nurses at Smilow to be excellent and caring. Because of their schedules I have seen many different nurses and they have all gone above and beyond. This includes my first weekend. I have at least four or five treatments coming during the next several months. I am not worried about my care.
I have seen at least one doctor every day and they are very helpful and informative.
It's not fare that I mention specific nurses because the are all equally qualified and nice and everything else you can positively say about them. I want to do a special call out to Haley. She is leaving this week to make a move to another hospital in Boston. I will miss her on my upcoming visits, but understand that this is a great opportunity for her and wish her well.

woefully understaffed on weekends. No response to nurse call for more than 20 minutes is unacceptable.

Every time I have gone to smillow to stay, everyone treated my husband and I very well. They make me feel very comfortable when I'm there. My doctor really knows her stuff and she provides me with excellent care. The nurses and nursing assistants are great as well. My surgeon was the best Dr. Chagpar, she is very straight forward and honest. She is also very caring to others. You are in good hands at smillow hospital!
