Extra charges several days after the rental with no reasons. Be careful for this and ask them for refund.

I have been to both George St's Budget and here, as well as other Rental car center in New Haven area. I have to say since my first visit I was deeply impressed. They were so polite and friendly, doing everything prompt and efficient, even the most picky guest can hardly be "not" satisfied.
If I can find any complain, that is about the Sign. Here's the clue, when you are at Union Station, go direct into the parking lot next to it. Not that huge Parking Garage building , just that one with "peter Pan" "grey hound" sign. They share the parking lot with buses without making a sign board. But you can see small signs of " rental car " print in the parking lot entrance.

I initially posted a negative review a few months ago; however, after renting from other rental services in New Haven and then returning to Budget for a rental last weekend, I must say that the service has significantly improved. I am proud to be a user of this budget location. ill return. Better customer service, nice fleet, often provide an upgrade if requested, reasonable prices, and fast service.

The Budget-Avis Car Rental in the New Haven Train Station provides a great service. It's location in the train station makes transitioning from Amtrak or Metro North to driving almost seamless.
The staff there is quite friendly and helpful, always ready to make the rental & return process easy and fast. The car has always been ready, and in excellent condition.
The entire team is customer-focused, and a pleasure to do business with.
I also comment the New Haven Budget-Avis Team at Tweed Airport, which is open late most nights. This is truly a professional and customer-oriented Team.
