Leave this local dive for the locals. There are a few good restaurants within 10 minutes of Mike's, so it is hard to imagine why anyone would eat here. Certainly not twice. The food is poor to aweful, and the long wait for it adds insult to injury. I'll never go to Mike's again.

Went to Mike's for my 27th Anniversary and was not disappointed. I had the prime rib and my husband had the baked stuffed scrod. Both were well prepared with ample portions and several choices of sides. Their wine and beer selections were plentiful and the service was excellent.
Note: We went there as a late lunch (around 2:30) and while not packed, the place was not empty either. Plan your visit to be out of peak times or you will wait.

A small and quaint family-friendly Italian Restaurant a local favorite for many decades. Has a main dinning area with booths and tables, and a separate bar area with more booths. A wide selection of food, my favorite is the Surf & Turf. Plus I have to say, one of the best New England Clam Chowder that I have ever had. The only complaint, if a complaint is their pricing has increased with their popularity; still generous portions are well worth the money.
