These reviews are from the old Fresca Grille. Fernando's Grille and Bar opened up about 7 months ago. The food is outstanding and for the price you can't beat it. Highly recommended.

The food is amazing and great atmosphere. I have tried almost everything on the menu and never disappointed. Best chowder in the city.

This new restaurant was a total surprise for New Bedford dining. The food was new, creative and excellent. The prices were quite reasonable. I will be a frequent patron of this cafe.

All of us Westporters who miss Ellie's as it was run by Deanna and Victor Vieira have reason to rejoice that they are doing even better for themselves and their clientele at the Fresca Grill -- their very beautiful new restaurant across from Ashley Park in New Bedford. The menu is much more extensive, the food is at least as good as we remember it, and the prices are still very reasonable despite the swank new quarters.
