Good quality food, employs locals, cozy setting with indoor and outdoor seating. This place is right in the middle of downtown so the pier and other restaurants are nearby. Only complaint is that it added to the gentrification of the area.

This is the place I go for a grilled cheese and tomato soup. They do it right. Especially if you like tomato and bacon in your sandwich. Wonderful sourdough slices and service with a smile.

Had the chicken soup once before-very thick soup and tasty. But whats going to keep me coming back is these past few days. Had my wisdom teeth taken out, and in too much pain to really cook or clean, so couldn't make some of the meals I wanted. Got a ride to Destination Soups and brought home their Clam Chowder and Tomato Soup in some quart tubs.
Both are delicious-and I wish I could add in some oyster crackers or actually chew the bread with the soup...but point is, the food is supreme here and its getting me through a subpar weekend/surgery.
Will return to try sandwhiches once I can chew!
