My initial intake session was helpful and Jasmyn Lyons was able to suggest a medication that helped my depression a great deal. That being said, the administrative side of Transformation Services is poorly run. Every 15 min. appointment that I have been scheduled for I have had to wait in the lobby for a minimum of 45 min. after my scheduled appointment time before being seen. On one occasion, I had been scheduled for an appointment and when I arrived not only was I not on their schedule but Jasmyn was not even there and another woman thought she had been scheduled to see her at the same time and was not listed on their schedule either. I informed the receptionist that I needed to make a new appointment to see Jasmyn to make some adjustments to my medication. She then handed both myself and the other woman paperwork to fill out for online video sessions. Ms. Lyons had decided to stop seeing patients face to face and instead of sending a letter, email, or phone call informing her patients that she was transitioning over to the new way of offering services, she waited until the patients showed up to inform them. As I was filling out the paperwork, I came across two points of interest, the first was that my sessions would not be private and that non-clinical staff would have access to these videos. In essence these sessions would no longer be confidential. The second point of interest was that I, as the patient, had the right to request a last face to face session before being transitioned to online video sessions. I requested to be scheduled for this last face to face session and was told that the receptionist would have to call me because she did not know when Ms. Lyons would be back in the office. Due to the fact that I needed an adjustment to my medication and refills I asked that she do so. Three days later I received a phone call from Transformation Services and was told that Ms. Lyons would not see me but that I could see the counselor there by proxy and the counselor would relay the information to Jasmyn and she would then make adjustments to my medication. I felt that this was not strictly legal but was in a bind so a I acquiesced. When I showed up for my appointment the counselor started an intake session and asked about family of origin questions etc. I told her that I didn't mean to be rude but since I was not planning on seeing her for counseling and only wanted to relay pertinent information to Jasmyn so I could have my medication changed, I did not feel comfortable answering her questions. She looked confused and left to speak with the receptionist. She came back in and started asking similar questions again. At this point, I repeated myself and said that I was not there for counseling. She again looked surprised and asked "So you do not want counseling?" I said no. I am here to get help with my medication. She then left and brought one script out for one of the three medications I was on, told me that Jasmyn suggested that I up my dose of a second medication and that the doctor would call in refills for my other two medications. I said thank you and left. I then called the pharmacy and asked them to begin the process of refilling my medication. Today, I called the pharmacy to follow-up and they said they had never received the two scripts (which were to have been called in 2 1/2 weeks ago) and that they would follow up with the doctor. I said thank you and that I would call the office as well. I called and had to leave a message because they have stopped seeing patients on Fridays. I would like to say that this is the first time that I have run out of my medications because the office forgot to call my scripts in but it is not. Last time, I had to go without my depression medication for a week before Transformation Services got their act together and contacted my pharmacy and I had to call them every day before they got it done. Needless to say I am searching for a new Psychiatrist and would advise anyone else needing help in the Nashville area to look elsewhere.
