Great space, great service, great cocktails; food was incredible starting with the seaweed butter n bread (to speak to earlier reviews on the sourdough they make, this was light, fluffy, just the best beginning, maybe fresher?). Wine list was admirable for any geek, started with a Slovenian orange, on to a '97 Morgon Beaujolais (!), then walked through the menu with great recommendations from Andrew.
The place deserves every accolade it garners for sure.

Fun menu. We were walk ins on a busy Saturday night and got seats at the communal table inside half an hour. Enjoyed talking with our neighbors.

I would feel forced to give even 2 stars. It was a pathetic example how restaurants are OVER RATED and certainly not one I would recommend to those that love authentic pasta. The service was great. The food was oily && Way too much Garlic. My girlfriend order some long pasta and it was covered in butter with flavor of lemon and black pepper. 26 dollars later, DOUGH with olive oil is only what you get.
If travelling from out of town, DO NOT COME HERE

The atmosphere is lovely and the service was perfect. My cocktail was very good, but the wine was just mediocre. We both enjoyed the meal (I had the agnolotti) but mine was so small, we looked at the menu again to see if I'd ordered an appetizer by mistake. I wish I'd photographed it because we laughed when we saw it. I'm guessing there were 8-10 small pieces of pasta scattered around the bowl. I could've eaten 4 of what they consider a serving. We had to laugh again when, after spending a good bit on dinner, we came home and ate snack mix and leftovers. Overall, a confusing experience. Good food, atmosphere and service, but quite expensive for what you get. I'd suggest you snack first or prepare to order 2 entrees. Or 3.

Dinner was amazing. The drinks were very fresh tasting and well-crafted. The pasta dishes were both overly delicious. Portions were smaller than what I expected for the price, but that's fine dining. Buttermilk coffee ice cream was very well done. A special occasion restaurant for us, but worth it.
