There's not much I can say about Ken's that hasn't already been said. Though atmosphere is not the most classy, and the chef is not interested in accommodating picky eaters it is undoubtedly the best sushi for flavor and texture in town. I mean if you're wanting amazing sushi don't come to Nashville, but if you're sick of BBQ and fried chicken this is the best option in this landlocked town in my opinion.
We order take out since it's down the street for us, and the waiters have always super been nice to us.

Ken's is a great addition to the south Nashville area. Ken and his staff are super friendly and the food is great!

Good authentic rolls. Very friendly staff. Quick service. Great place if you aren't into those fancy Americanized rolls.

This place is about a mile from my work, but it's my first time trying it. It was recommended to me with the description, "Their sushi is excellent!" Why not? I had the fried octopus balls (takoyaki) and the Red Dragon roll. The takoyaki came out piping hot, but a bit smaller than I expected for the price. The red dragon was awesome! There's also a list of classic Japanese items (like aji fry and okonomiyaki) located near the register that's not mentioned on the website, and it's mind-boggling because I didn't really think I would ever find a Japanese restaurant with those items here in middle TN. Food and price makes it worth it to come back again and again.

We love it here! The service is great and Ken is very passionate at what he does. The sushi here is very simple but so delicious (best sushi I've had in Nashville). I love that they offer just a handful of "specialty" rolls unlike other sushi restaurants that have 3 pages of "specialty" rolls drenched in eel sauce and spicy mayo. The price is very reasonable and you definitely get your money's worth here. I highly recommend this place!
