It's the best community garden in the Hillsboro-West End area! It's so cool to see students working for something bigger than themselves.

I've volunteered here for a year now and don't intend to stop anytime soon. My time here has introduced me to many passionate, hard-working people. I love that this space attracts those who are not just environmentally minded, but also concerned with social justice. With all the creativity and dedication at this garden, it's no wonder that not just plants but innovation and infrastructure grows before your very eyes. Checking out this gem on the fringe of campus is a must.

Helped out at this garden a little bit over the summer and enjoyed the beautiful vegetables and community. The garden's purpose is to educate the community about how create a more just food system that works towards healthier communities and its a real gem.

I volunteered at this garden for nearly two years. It's small but very well run, and will surprise you with the number of projects and features in the space. A pond, greenhouse, beehives, grapes, fruit trees, water catchment system, pollinator garden and other themed gardens, all within a space of about 4000 sq feet.
