Pretty good food, but not the best customer experience I've ever had.
Came here on a Saturday night with a friend. We ordered cocktails and a couple of appetizers, then asked our server if we should stop there, add another small plate or two, add an entree, etc. She assured us the apps were small and that we should both get entrees, and steered us towards the two most expensive on the menu. We placed our orders, one for duck (which looked overpriced to begin with) and one for a burger.
After eating the appetizers we were both fairly full and beginning to question the advice of ordering individual entrees. When they arrived, we were further disappointed. The burger was well done instead of the medium rare it was ordered for and the duck was rare, nearly uncooked in places, instead of the medium we were told it was served at.
When our server checked in with us we explained our disappointment and instead of instantly reconciling the situation, she told me why even medium duck would look pink inside and tried to explain it away. While the food mistakes weren't her fault, I was hoping for a kinder reaction, especially as she had recommended the dish.
In the end, we were comped for the two entrees, which was more than generous as a resolution, but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The two appetizers we had were super tasty, as were the cocktails, and had we not run into issues with the entrees I would have given this place a solid 4 stars. Instead I'll leave it at a 3. Some good offerings but I won't be running back.

One of my favorite places in Nashville. Haven't been going to brunch as much since they went buffet, but the menu is consistently fantastic and the service is some of the best in Nashville.

The upstairs bar and downstairs private room in the back we're spectacular. The service was attentive and helpful. I needed to to an A/V presentation and had forgotten some equipment but they quickly accommodated my needs providing me with an HDMI chord and instruction on how to run the A/V equipment in the private room. Very cool atmosphere.

Me and my wife were visiting Nashville for the weekend and a friend recommended this restaurant to us. The building itself is full of character and is what you would expect from a high end restaurant. We ordered the burger and the 16 ounce strip steak, both of which were not cooked like we asked initially. After giving constructive criticism to the manager, he resolved the situation and apologized on behalf of the restaurant. The food was delicious and great value, we will be sure to return the next time we are in Nashville. Even though our food wasn't perfect initially, I'm sure that our initial impression isn't typical and this is a top notch restaurant as our new portions and Richard's response to make us whole demonstrated.
We have been to plenty of restaurants that have either overcooked or undercooked a portion and then given the correctly cooked portion later on, but we have never experienced a manager taking such a personal interest in the clients' dining experience as Richard did when we dined at Sinema.

My husband and I were in Nashville for a weekend getaway, and we wanted to find a nice brunch place. Sinema was on a list of "best brunch places"; it did not disappoint. The food was incredibly delicious. It's obvious that all the ingredients are high quality. But the service was the real star. We were there for about an hour and a half, and not a single person tried to rush us out. In fact, multiple managers stopped by our table to ask how things were. Our server was happy to answer any and all questions about the food and kept our bottomless mimosas filled. Sinema provided one of the best brunch experiences I've ever had!
