This review is in regards to Local Taco's catering. We contacted them in early August about handling the food for our wedding on September 30th. Chelsea (the catering manager) was great from the very beginning (meeting with us and going through exactly what our needs would be and how best to fulfill them). When they day came everything from the food to the provided staff was excellent and our guests had nothing but praise to say for the company.
Working with Local Taco for our big event was a pleasure, especially with such a short notice, and myself and my new wife would recommend them to anyone looking for great food and service for a catered event

The service here seems to be on polar opposites of the spectrum. Sometimes it's spot on good and other times...not so much. The food is about what you'd expect out of a taco joint and at a prices that won't break the bank. The menu does change a bit and I've had good luck with take-out.

I loved this place last year, but the grouper and chicken in today's tacos were cold. The seating seemed dirty and the place was not very clean. They need a tune up.

Local Taco is a nice place to chill and have a few well priced tacos and margaritas. Local Taco is a big hit in Nashville. The food and drinks are not bad, but they are not great either. The tacos are a little bland lacking in flavor or overwhelming on the taste of flour tortilla. The margaritas are okay, but all you really taste is the triple sec they put in it.
There are several other places in the city that offer a much better crafted margarita and better tasting tacos for the same price. If you are looking to try something new, sure check it out. But if you're coming here expecting the best tacos and margaritas, you may be let down.

- I ordered the brunch nacho dish. The chips were really salty and the chicken under-seasoned.
- I also ordered the hot chicken taco. It was good - the chicken was tender and ingredients went well together.
Service: 0/5
- It took nearly an hour to get the food, and the restaurant was not even busy.
- They forgot half of my order at first. I needed to remind them of the tack before they brought it out.
- The brunch nacho dish I ordered was supposed to come with chicken, eggs, chips, cheese, salsa, and onions.
- I received just a bowl of chips and the eggs.
- When I asked for this to be corrected, the server TOOK THE SAME BOWL and just added the missing ingredients on top.
- And they still FORGOT THE CHEESE.
- The place also has an 86 health rating which is kinda questionable.
