Thanks to Dr. Miers Johnson and his friendly staff. I recently had a total left hip replacement on a Thursday. I left the hospital on Friday and was off the prescription pain med by Saturday. Then on Monday we walked around the track at the Rec Center and I am very excited to be walking normally again.

Go ANYWHERE ELSE!
In short, they were rude, reckless, neglectful, and did not address my symptoms, and refused care which was recommended by my doctor (an ultrasound - they wouldn't even refer me), as well as prescribing me medication for symptoms I DID NOT HAVE. This was a a month ago, and I'm still LIVID.
Long version?
My doctor's office was closed and the on call doctor on the phone encouraged me to be seen THAT DAY because the three things that could be causing my symptoms are serious and need attention, and he also said to get a blood test and an ultrasound to be sure of what was going on.
The nurse didn't listen to me, and neither did the clinician. They messed up my urinalysis and made me redo it, and it still was inconclusive (which is fine, because they wanted to see if I had a UTI, which I had NONE of the symptoms for, and it wouldn't cause the symptoms I did have... whatever). I had to push for a blood test, which was recommended by my doctor, and THEY REFUSED TO EVEN REFER ME FOR AN ULTRASOUND! The clinician said I had to go to the ER (for a separate visit which would cost hundreds of dollars, alone), and have them refer me. This is FALSE - they could have referred me.
She then prescribed me medication for cramps, which I DID NOT HAVE, and failed to EVER address what might actually be causing my pain and other symptoms. I got no answers, and the three scary potential causes were never ruled out, so I ended up going to my doctor, anyway, and spending more money on that visit, getting referred for an ultrasound elsewhere, and finding out what the problem was, with NO HELP from the St Al's clinic, whatsoever.

Terrible. After going in because my wife was having discomfort and pressure In her pelvis ( we had a baby 3 weeks ago) they told us it was nothing. This is after they took their sweet time to lolly gag and tell us the doctor wouldn't be in for an hour because this didnt take priority over another patient. They performed a pelvic exam last of all things. And said they saw nothing. But before we left she was offered narcotics for pain. She told the doctor and nurses she was at a 0 for pain. So today we went to st Luke's meridian and she actually had pelvic prolapse. Worst care we have ever experienced. No sense of urgency whatsoever. If I am shot and dying I will take the extra trip to meridian for care.
