Unbeatable location in Monterey. Parking is adjacent (but not included. $20 per day). Just a short walk to the water or downtown restaurants. Nice rooms...but ask for one with a view.

Beautiful lobby, excellent service and wonderful dining options. The rooms are nothing to write home about. They are dated, and oddly laid out. It's also under construction so your view on the lower floors is going to be a fence and a construction sign.
Construction also starts early in the morning so if you want to sleep beyond 8am you're out of luck. If you are lucky enough to be on the third floor, you will also see construction workers pacing back and forth in front of your window.

Amazing hotel and service. We stayed only one night. Wished we could have stayed longer. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing and was it's own work of art. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location. Close to fisherman's wharf, beach, stores, etc. Rooms are big and updated. Not all rooms have nice views but overall, this is a great place to stay. They give you a cookie at check in and a free champagne reception in the early evening. Staff is helpful and friendly.

I walked in to use their public restroom next to their ballroom, it was spacious and clean. My experience in their bathroom was top notch. The toilet paper was super absorbent and soft to the touch, certainly they spared no expense for their valued patrons. The sink was clean and fully stocked with automatic soap at the ready. The automatic faucet was a bit tricky, but after flailing my hands around in various positions and distances from the automatic sensor, I was soon overtaken with an abundance of joy as the water pressure was just perfect for the task at hand (pun must certainly intended). Upon finalizing the luxurious wash my hands found their way to a multitude of options. For the seasoned veteran, there is the traditional white paper towel dispenser at your left of the grand sink. However, for a more ambitious experience, head directly over to your right and try your luck with the automatic hand blow dryer, beware, it is not for the faint of heart. It quickly, and accurately, projects a warm steam of pressurized air directly into your palms and magically knows when to turn off all by itself. I've used many public restroom, this one, will absolutely surpass all of your expectations. One word of advice tho, whatever you think you know about public restrooms, forget, because this one is sure to astound you.
