I don't know why there's a knife and fork in the icon for this place. However there is plenty of eye candy there if you drop in on the weekend.

If you like dive bars, this is the place for you. My husband and I met in a dive bar and got married in a dive bar, and consider ourselves dive bar connoisseurs. Yes, the drinks are strong and cheap. Yes, they are probably the LAST bar is CA to allow SMOKING (cigs, not the green). If that bothers you, yeah, well, don't come here. Would have gotten 5 stars, but even by dive bar standards, the bathroom is...REALLY bad. And I lived in third world country and shat in a hole in the ground for 2 years, so I'm really not a priss!!

I was visiting the area and, even though everyone else there was local I found it to be friendly. The lady behind the bar was overworked but really friendly. The drinks were generous for the price. No on site food but pizza delivery was ok. The bar tender didn't know how to make a Manhattan but looked it up and did fine.

For some unknown reason they are out of a lot of alcohol choices, even the bartender was disappointed...since she was losing business
