We hadn't been here for a couple years. The tables are quite crowded together. We enjoyed the blue grass music while we had a couple beers and dinner. The onion rings were crispy, but not quite as good as The Fox Pub. The french fries were fantastic. There were very crisp and stayed that way until the last one. Normally I don't care much for the french fries, but you have to try these. I had the grilled vegetable sandwich. I thought it would be more like grilled cheese. There was too much bread and the salsa tase of the spicy tomatoes I could have done without. I think I'll have a hamburger next time.

Amazing food, AMAZING live music features talented local artists on its walls monthly. And its family owned, supports artwalk, outside dining, cool people. It seriously doesn't get better than this in Modesto

Very nice people. Family nights are fun. They have young musicians come and perform which is always entertaining! Missing one star only because it can be hard to find a seat. Great sandwiches!

Best burgers in town! Love the ambiance and wait staff. The owner Hannibal is friendly and remembers everyone when they come back. Makes his guests feel welcome each time.

Great food and treats, owners are very supportive of the local music, poetry, and arts community. Live music every weekend, Blue Monday music jams, poetry slam on Tuesdays, live jazz jam every Thursday... Restaurant can get hot and noisy, if it's packed the service will slow down. I recommend the Salmon salad or burger, or order a grilled cheese with the Tomato Basil soup instead of fries. And the Veggie sandwich. I hear their burgers and dogs are tasty.
