Once Dr. Hope left, this office fell apart and has not been able to pull itself together. It has been well over a year since Dr. Hope left and since then, the staff, administrative and medical, have been trying to do too much and have let their care slip to well below what children deserve. I complained once and was given an appointment with a different provider who basically told me at the end of the appointment to make an appointment with a different doctor for my son's next check up. I make a complaint one time, so the staff all acted like I was insane. The nurse practitioner I saw with my youngest son multiple times was callous, ignored me completely, and then acted like my concerns weren't valid. I know I don't know as much as a trained medical professional, but when a medical professional offers you an explanation that doesn't even address the symptoms and behavior of your child, it's your right to question them. Apparently NOT at Missoula Valley Pediatrics. When my husband called to get an appointment, because the nurse on call told us our son needed to be seen by a doctor, not a nurse practitioner, within 24 hrs, he was given an appointment later that day, then the office staff called back FROM A RESTRICTED NUMBER, to tell him that the appointment she had given him wasn't actually available and we could see the nurse practitioner. My husband said no and told them how incompetent they were and they sent us release paperwork for one of our children, but their incompetence extends even to putting paper into an envelope, as the paperwork was caught in the glue of the envelope and torn when it was opened. Unless you want to be treated by doctors who decide what is wrong before you even enter the building and be looked down on by the office staff, find a different doctor for your children. They deserve better care and attention that this office seems able to provide.

I've taken both my kids to MVP for almost 10 years. I love how they don't prescribe antibiotics unless it's absolutely necessary and I'm always comfortable with their judgment. I've never had a problem getting an appointment, they always make things work. My kids LOVE Dr. Randall, my son even dressed as him for Halloween one year. The receptionists and nurses are also incredible, and lets face it most of the time we spend is with the nurses anyways. I highly recommend this office to my loved ones.

I am so pleased with the care that my son receives at Missoula Valley Pediatrics. Dr. Scott is very attentive to our needs and always provides very thorough care. She takes the time to address any issues and the follow-up on any illness that my son has had has been amazing. She always remembers us when we come in for a visit. My son was very sick at 4 weeks of age and she really took the time to find out what was wrong with him and get him the appropriate treatment. She is an outstanding pediatrician.
