Life kinda slows down here. That's their vibe. So expect slower service, which is fine if you bring a book or just want to watch life go by. The food is a little too expensive for what it is, imo. I spent 25 dollars (including tip) on a Tao Bowl and a CBD Oil infused latte. The Latte was delicious. I think it was 6-7 dollars. I would get the latte again. The bowl itself was very bland. I had to add a lot of hot sauce. The food is about as natural as it gets, so I guess you can expect that...I remember there being more flavor though...was slightly disappointed. The outside patio is nice though. I'd come back again and try something different.

The food here is OK, but on the forgettable side of acceptable. The main problem is how a bowl of brown rice and beans runs you an absurd amount of money when you factor in a tip (which you should because service is good!). At least it's whole-food, and you don't feel awful after eating, but there are better options on Hennepin for your buck.

Poor experience and unhappy customer. I ordered a smoothie over the weekend for a long road trip. I was very excited for the smoothie and when ordering, found out that they did not have any berries. I then decided to order a smoothie that did not need berries instead ordered one with Peanut Butter. When I got in my car and took my first sip, I must say in the most polite way, it was absolutely horrible. The taste was not appealing. I normally would hang in and make the most of it but seriously, it was the worst tasting smoothie and I had paid $8-$9 for it. I went back in the shop to let them know my experience and see if possibly there was something missing. The smoothie guy raised his voice and said he makes it the same way every time and that I am incorrect, he did not miss any ingredients. Come to find out, they didn't have any maple syrup (which was a prime ingredient in the smoothie- was not told this up front). He did not tell me this and insisted that he made it perfectly. I asked if I could exchange it for something else and he was very rude about the process and ignored me. I ended up throwing my smoothie away and walked out. This was very horrible service and definitely not a place that I would pay $8-$9 for a smoothie again.

The food is awesome here. We love the variety of vegan/veggie options and everything tastes healthy and nutritious. The kale salad is my addiction, hands down the best kale salad I've had anywhere else: it's simple, but so yummy. Love their vegan sandwiches and rice dishes!! I agree, the service is not always good, kind of snobby and slow, not very friendly staff. But we still go, as we do love the food and it's not super crowded as other restaurants. Love the patio area in the summer!
