The service was amazing and they were very attentive, that's the only reason they got 2 stars. The food was extremely over priced for the quality and amount received. The gnocchi was bland, extremely tiny, and had well over cooked food (almost burnt). Our dessert was a joke for the price ($10), it was essential 3 bite sized pieces of chocolate. I am totally fine throwing down money for a nice dinner out but paying $90 for two people who shared all their food for a 3 course meal is ridiculous for the quality we received.

Outstanding. This restaurant has to be one of the most under-appreciated in the city. Flavor and quality of each course was superb. Service - impeccable. Bottle of wine was corked - brought to the attention of the server who promptly replaced - no looks of contempt - brought a new bottle straight away and all was well. Highly, highly recommended.

I'm disappointed to only give this restaurant 2 stars. Saffron has been on my to-go list for several months and I was ecstatic to finally get there, however I left sorely disappointed. I tasted 6 dishes and the food quality was consistently average. The food quality combined with the price was outrageous. I can think of at least 5 places where I can have better prepared lamb for under $15. I ordered wine pairings with my courses and all, but one was very poorly matched. The final bill was $250 and left me feeling like I had been swindled. Definitely won't be returning or recommending.

The food here is amazing. It's all just so good. The service is fantastic as well. It gets a bit loud when there's a lot of people there so it's not a place for quiet discussions but it is a great atmosphere and a fun place to be. When we go out to eat, Saffron is our default choice.
