This is an order at the counter type of place. Everything was good with a cool vibe. The fish was good but we prefer other fish frys and we're a little disappointed that is was two small prices of fish. I had the Birchwood salad which was quite good just hard to eat because it was full pieces of lettuce and large carrot ribbons. Pictured in the photo is the Brussels sprouts which were delicious.

Great food. Family style seating. It's a Bernie Sanders hangout ambiance. If you want to see Twin Cities liberals in their natural environment, this is the place. Breakfast was fantastic.

It is cafe style here. Walk through the line to order and your meal is delivered to your table. I had a medium rare hamburger and a half salad that were delicious! You could tell it was all fresh. I'll be back!

I've been to Birchwood twice and both times ordered the Savory Waffle. I wish I could recommend other items on the menu, but this waffle is simply to die for. Ordering is easy and food service is quick. Prices are average for a trendy cafe and the coffee is good. Would recommend and go back.

We are from out of town and just had brunch at Birtchwood cafe. It has a great atmosphere and it was run very smoothly. The service was friendly and welcoming. I had the savory waffle and it was delicious! I would definitely recommend this place!
