The Nicollet Island Inn has always been special to my husband and me. We value the wonderful and friendly service and the cozy, yet sophisticated atmosphere of this historic building and surrounding area in Minneapolis. Recently, we enjoyed a special promotion for a six-course dinner and wine pairings - it was delicious! It was really fun to experience dishes and wines that we may not have necessarily selected on our own. We hope the restaurant offers more of these special promotions in the future!

Beautifully classic and cozy hotel. Simple room but classy af. No fridge but that was fine. Amazing bed and bathrooms plus robes. The breakfast was some of the greatest in my life, GET THE FRENCH TOAST!

Good atmosphere, nice views. Had the Sunday dinner. Salad, entree and dessert. The steak was only 4 oz. Pretty tiny. Not enough to call it a dinner. Everything was delicious, but it wasn't enough.

Went for Sunday brunch. Had heard wonderful things. Service was pleasant, but slow. Very old charming supper club vibe. No AC though, was an uncomfortable duration. Food was excellent, but be prepared to shell out a decent chunk of change for either the 3 or 5 course tasting menu at brunch.

My mother hosted my bridal shower here in July, and we had a terrific experience! The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially Ryan. The Inn is very beautiful, with a few great event spaces. The fireplace room was perfect for our party of 17, with enough space while also being cozy. We also found their prices to be very reasonable after checking out a couple of other alternatives for private tea party venues. I would definitely recommend the Inn for a private event and for their public tea parties, which I have also been to and enjoyed.
