Absolutely floored by quality of service and food. Wait staff was very attentive and very helpful (my girlfriend has a dairy allergy and they triple checked everything).
Very reasonable prices for the quality of food and the atmosphere. Perfect date night spot or if you're looking for an upscale vibe.

This gorgeous, breathtakingly open space inside the downtown Minneapolis Westin Hotel, renovated within the structure where the city's historic F&M Bank stood for decades (a town, which, until the early 1980s was happy to be an Omaha-ish stopover).
The F&M Bank was a giant open atrium, around three stories high. It was remembered less for its financial services than the eccentrics who camped out in the atrium's long tables in the middle of the room: when visiting as a kid, a disheveled man with a soothing announcer's voice would "broadcast" what sounded like a radio show for an audience of one.
The Westin renovation wisely left the F&M sandstone exterior untouched, and the atrium where BANK Restaurant sits respectfully honors the original column-free open space. As guests enter the huge room with a 40-foot ceiling, it's natural to expect the noise and bustle of a mini-Grand Central Station.
But BANK is striking not just for the scale of the space it occupies: whether busy with people or not, it is always museum-quiet. Always. The silence is comforting rather than spooky, more reverence than empty. It's worth a visit for this experience alone.
BANK Restaurant has a bustling after-work bar crowd, and is decidedly business oriented -- like the Westin itself. There is no weekend party scene (its sister W Hotel has that covered a couple blocks away).
Visiting at various times over the years, there are always several tables seated along with a few of the private rooms booked on the outside street-view perimeter. The private rooms are wonderful: I booked one without charge shortly before arriving, and my party of five enjoyed the tasteful, comfortable and understated amenities.
The service (dining, bar and door) is crisply professional, welcoming and consistent. Like the Westin hotel staff they are clearly well-trained in the art of always available, attentive service -- while appropriately invisible in a way business diners will deeply appreciate.
The food is good, predictable and unremarkable -- just as most business travelers want it. The menu is priced in line with most hotel-venue establishments: not expensive, not cheap and well within even more frugal expense-report limits.
Anyone visiting on business (or locals doing business over dinner) should shortlist BANK as a reliable go-to, especially on short notice; if you book a party of 4 and show up with 10 guests, you'll always get seated without delay or hassle. If you reserve for 10 and arrive with just two, they will find you a great small table -- if you've ever been lectured by a host elsewhere about 'last-minute reservation changes', you'll appreciate this all the more.
I travel a lot for business, and hold platinum status with Starwood properties (which include this Westin). I've been away in other cities and in need of a place to charge my phone, make a call in private or even use a restroom outside of the hotel where I stay, and this isn't always a easy effort: even some SPG hotels have turned me away until I produce my elite status card.
But recently at BANK and this Westin, I was downtown and needed two of the above accommodations urgently: I am grateful that the kind front desk staff (unaware of my SPG membership and knowing I was not a guest) didn't hesitate before ensuring my biologic and battery-driven needs were satisfied completely.
These are the small-effort, high touch acts of service that earn my loyalty -- here and across their affiliated brands.

Have been there multiple times. This is a superb restaurant - interesting, delicious food; excellent service; wide discerning wine selection. The only down side is that it is very hard to get reservations, although they try to hold some places I've been told. If you haven't booked far in advance, call and be flexible about time! Foodie locals all rave also.

I visited Bank with a bachelorette brunch of 20 people. We made reservations far in advance and they were not prepared whatsoever. The restaurant had no other guests and the tables were not set up. We waited 10 minutes and had to sit separately at three different tables although no one else was there. It was our waitresses first day and she was very unprepared to handle a group of this size. Extremely long wait times for both food and drink. On top of that, we waited over a half hour to get the tabs figured out, nothing comped or reduced in price for this horrible experience. Very poor management and customer service.

Great food and good ambience. I had a Groupon coupon and had informed them while calling to reserve seats, so they brought the menu as per the booking; no confusion whatsoever. Server was there at regular intervals, didn't have to wait for them. No much waiting time for the dish also. Altogether it was a great experience.
