One of, if not the best -bowling alleys in Mpls . AND..really good food, served quickly by really nice folk. Outdoor seating...front and side ! And...Eddie the bartender, formerly of the original Eli's.

Great food. Fast and friendly service. They have a fun bar area with karaoke and pull-tubs. They also have a quieter dining area too. TVs throughout the place to watch the games or whatever. Bowling is fun down the hall too.

Here's an example of excellent customer service: I was late for a Twins game, so I hopped on their shuttle to Target Field, but I was in such a rush that I paid for my $5 ticket (comes w free drink, too!) with a $20 bill, and forgot to wait for change. When I came back post-Twins game (16-0 thrashing of Padres, record for home runs at Target Field btw!), there was a different bartender. As nicely as I could, I brought up the fact that I think I paid for my shuttle ticket with a $20 and forgot to wait for change. The new bartender said "hey, I think the bartender who would have been working at that time mentioned something", she called him, and when all was said and done she handed me the $15 that I forgot! There was no reason they had to do that - they were just honest, and awesome. And I think that reflects on the entire place. Elsie's is GREAT!

Elsie's has a great outdoor seating area. We stayed there for a few hours. Great, attentive service. Will definitely return.

Great local favorite. The food is good. The staff is friendly and efficient. Elsie's is NE staple that has been around for generations. And, there's BOWLING!
