Table caught fire and jacket subsequently ruined, owner blames customer!
My mother recently took me out to dinner as I was going through a rough patch and wanted to do something nice for me. She decided to try this place. When we got the bread the waitress had set it down next to a candle on the table. As I opened up the napkin enclosing the bread, I thought to myself how close it was to the open flame. The candles are at just the unusually right height and the flame extends over the top of the holder leaving it exposed at hand level as you reach around on the table. I folded the napkin back down and continued on. My mom grabbed a slice of bread, and all of a sudden I looked up and the napkin was on fire! Instinctively I poured my glass of water over it to put out the fire. Water was quickly pooling on the table. I pushed my chair back (which had my jacket on the back), and got up as the busboy hurried over to clean. The busboy pushed the chair with my jacket back towards the table (WTF?) and essentially squeegeed all the resulting table water into the direction of the chair, thereby drenching my jacket along with all the other muck (salad drssing, butter, etc.) that the water had mixed with as it flowed over the table after straining through the bread basket.
I finally got the manager over after the meal. I explained how it would be appropriate for them to reimburse me for dry cleaning of my jacket given the sequence of events. The manager, who promptly identified himself as the owner, indicated to me that it was my fault since I poured the water, and that it was just water and therefore nothing to clean. I rebutted that the bus boys follow on actions ruined my jacket, and it was in fact a combination of the water mixed with all the filth on the table. My mother interjected as well. The owner replied to her to not come back and to pay the bill and get out. I could not believe my ears, how this low-life owner disrespects my mother this way. I now have a ruined jacket with dried salad drressing baked in. Additionally as others on here have noted, the steak was raw in the middle and burnt on the outside. Their solution-put the same piece of meat back on the grill. I will be going to the Chop House from now on. All the ghetto senior citizens getting ripped-off at this place can have it. Oh yeah, the fire Marshall needs to look at that candle setup. Honestly, those are some different candles...

My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday and we usually go there to celebrate special events. We both had the senior prime rib. While my dinner was absolutely delicious (see picture). However my boyfriend's steak was fatty with very little meat. While some marble is the meat is great, this piece of steak was inchs of fat! (Really regret not taking a picture) The waitress did reduce the bill accordingly, but the cooks and (maybe) owners really need to watch the quality of meat makes it to the table.

Some of the best steak I have ever had. Old fashioned steak house. I have tried Steaks from Los Angeles to Washington DC. They do it right. Housemade soups and great waitstaff!

Excellent service! My food was prepared exactly as I requested it. The prices are reasonable for once you get. The food has come out hot every time I have been there.
