Great facility. Everyone in the office, from front desk staff to veterinarians are extremely caring about their patients and are very kind. Visits are done in a timely fashion. Somewhat pricey but totally worth it. I recommend this office!

I have been coming here for quite some time and I feel now more than ever should be a great time to share my feedback on how I feel the customer service has improved tremendously. I see they have different people at the front desk area which it's like night and day. Before I would come in and some of the receptionist wouldn't even look at me or smile, seemed like if I asked how much longer I was bothering them, as if they just didn't want to be there which trust clients can sense that. Like they would just go through the motions of no personal interaction or friendliness. Now I come in everyone is smiling, they kept communicating with me on wait time which wasn't long but the fact that it showed they cared meant a lot even though didn't have an appointment just had a few questions. Manager was sweet and outgoing, playing with my dog and going and greeting all other dogs and talking to owners as they waited. Glenn and Kim stood out as well I was observing how they worked with each other and how they were just happy. Dr Barr as always is so very friendly as always. I usually send my kid or husband just because with wait time and how girls at front weren't very nice to me I just didn't want to deal with it. So glad for changes made because this is a great hospital and I will continue to come back for as long as I have pets.

I don't usually write reviews but after the incredible and caring service a receive on a regular basis I felt I needed to acknowledge a truly caring staff at VCA (Alton Road Animal Hospital). From the precise care of Dr. Rachel Johnson to the lovely and kind front desk staff, I have been using Alton Road Animal hospital for over 14 years. I arrived to Alton Road animal hospital with even the worst neglect cases of a rescue dog over 12 years ago. A super friendly and nice boy named Alex Lorenzo greeted me when I needed to turn this dog in for a few weeks of boarding before he was eligible for a good home. Alex assured me he would assist me in helping get this dog back to good clean health with a bath and some old fashion TLC,. Honestly, for his efforts I am forever grateful because it was Alex who really saved this dogs life and I am sure countless others. Now almost 12 years later I have a similar case and I was so comforted to see Alex and his warm smile to greet me once again to care for my new foster dog. I am so grateful for the entire staff and especially for a professional like Dr. Johnson, always being available to take my call and explain everything to me in layman terms, and knowing Alex is there behind the scene to watch over my new dog rescue with a warm and open heart. The skill, trust and kindness of this team feels like an extended family, and I want to thank each and every one of them.

Alex is the gentlest and most trustworthy person you can leave your pet with. I occasionally drop off or pick up my sister's dog and he does not want to come home. Alex is an asset to your practice.
Dr Pait is spectacular. I have utmost trust in him and I am extremely happy with the way he handled our pets. Very compassionate, very understanding.
I'm not sure what we'd do without them.

This is the very best place to leave your pet if you have to travel. The whole staff is great ! Still I need to mention my favorite care giver, Alexis Lorenzo! He truly loves his job and cares for the animals, he is the sweetest!! We couldn't wish for a better second home for our dog. Five stars service !
