As a connoisseur of dive bars I have only good things to say about this joint. It is one of the best local dives in Miami. It has poor lighting, wobbly chairs, and a makeshift stage for musical performances. It comes in high on the list of dives in the 305. I am partial to the patio in front where you can enjoy a beer around the pool table. Drink deals are plentiful, Jameson is a standard on special. The vibe is way chill, exactly what you want from a neighborhood haunt.

This is a fun little bar. They have a pool table, big screen TV and seating outside. The prices aren't bad and they always have either live music or karaoke inside. Friendly service but no food. Fun locals spot where you come to drink.

I'm almost afraid for the word to get out on how fun this place is. It's this unassuming small dive bar in the Gables with great karaoke! You'll pass right by it if you aren't careful. On Saturday they had $5 drink specials. The bar tenders are great and there is a patio out front to chill as well. It's just a great place with no annoying people and good times. I don't live in Miami anymore but if I did this would be my spot.

I've been avoiding writing a review of my neighborhood watering hole, but I can't resist singing their praises. I typically only come as part of the Thursday-Saturday crowd (though my roommate is here far more often than that - there's a reason we all find ourselves here eventually), but recently went on Sunday for poker night during a three day weekend.
The bartenders are literally all great, unpretentious people. Drinks range from $4 for an imperial to $9 for a Jamie ginger. No matter how many times we bring new friends here or drunkenly leave our phones behind until the next day, they always have our backs with a friendly smile. And quarters for the pool table. And a little puppy for certain nights.
The redid their space inside, so seating is really only outside on the patio, or at the bar. But Jada's doesn't get so packed where you can't find a place to rest your laurels. Regulars are nice folks who don't laugh at you when you suck at pool (you have to play the previous winners, your treat), and some might even teach you to shuffle if you're that far gone that dancing to their alt-rock playlist is part of your night.
I don't want to spoil too many of their secrets, but know that there are karaoke nights, burlesque nights, live music, the works. You just gotta get your way to Coral Way to find out for yourself. Pro tip: don't park across in any of the business lots - they will boot your car.
