This visit was on a Saturday at 5:00 p.m., a time we assumed the restaurant would not be crowded. Boy, were we wrong! Havana Harry’s is one of the best casual dining restaurants I’ve ever visited, the food is authentic Cuban and plentiful, and the prices are great. The staff is friendly and professional, the service is fast and accurate. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Miami, including those who may have a long layover at MIA as it is only about 15 minutes from the airport. We always stop when we are anywhere near, it is that good!

The portions were huge. We shared an appetizer and a main and we were full after the appetizer. In that respect, it was a great value. I didn't see certain things I'm used to seeing in Cuban restaurants. I didn't see any sides listed and we wanted to get some sweet plantains. There aren't a ton of veggie options. I know Cuban foods is heavily meat based, but some options would be great. They fit us in at a busy time without reservations. It was a casual restaurant and very unpretentious. I saw lots of families and the food was authentic.

Havanna Harry's is located across the street from the Village of Merrick Park Mall and is the ideal place to share with the family on a Sunday afternoon. Their menu includes the typical dishes of Cuban cuisine and the portions are huge, so it is best to share the food. On weekends this place is packed, most likely you have to wait for a table.

One of the best Cuban restaurants in Miami. The food is fresh and delicious. I try to avoid the weekends. The place gets to crowded and the I don't like to wait. Try the desserts, they are incredible, I know is a restaurant but they could easily pass as a bakery.

This gets 4 stars for the portion size and food quality. This place is always packed at anytime of the day for good reason. Massive portion size for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Modern interior and forth three wait. It's not high-end food but it's CHEAP and portions are great. Again not a Michelin restaurant so don't let the four starts full you but if you're hungry and want a cheap dish this is the place.
