The services was great and the drinks were phenomenal. Right when we sat down we were served chips & salsa, with glasses of water. My chicken tacos and Santa Fe rice was delicious.

The food was okay, but the service was pretty bad. We made reservations for 8 earlier in the day because we didn't know what to expect for the time of night on Saturday. The reservation was at 7 and we didn't have to wait to be seated. I honestly think the experience might have been good if the server wasn't so terrible. Both my husband and I have been in the service industry and know both what to expect as well as what it's like to be in their shoes. This was pretty bad for several reasons and any one or a couple of them could be brushed aside, but all together in one meal made it pretty frustrating. We had to start off by telling our server that we wanted drinks and he seemed surprised (it's a tequila bar after all). Almost every drink brought out to us was wrong. Our son asked for lemonade, he was given sprite. I ordered a margarita with mango and was asked sugar or salt, I said sugar and was brought neither. My husband ordered a regular margarita on the rocks with salt, but got no salt either. My daughter ordered a burrito, but asked to hold the peppers and it came with peppers. My father didn't get the food he ordered at all and the kitchen had to do a rush order. We could tell by other staff helping that they were frustrated with our server as well. Then when his food finally arrived the server was quick to blame the kitchen. We were sitting 3 feet from the kitchen and could see when food was ordered and put in the window. We really never saw our server again until he brought our check. Drinks and food were still good, but if we ever come back we'll try the bar instead.

Went for my best friends birthday last night and it was pure awesomeness! Our server was so personable, funny, and great at his job. The tacos were delish and the margaritas were perfect! I'll be returning... SOON!

We frequent TQLA because it in our neighborhood, but the service has always been poor. The food is okay and the Tqla is great. Just don't think we will be coming here any longer. We will make it a point to not recommended our friends here also. Too bad because it's a nice atmosphere. Work on customer service for future reference.
