I love Dr. Nelson. She is amazing, I wouldn't want anyone else to deliver my baby. She takes the time to listen to me and i am grateful for her.

Dr. Nelson is a great doctor and very well educated. However, they expect patients to pay a delivery fee prior to their 5th month of pregnancy and will hardly work with you. I have CIGNA insurance, deductible is $1500 and they wanted me to pay $1,000.00 to them in less than 2 months.. When I spoke with Angie the office manager, in front of everyone in the waiting room, she told me that if I paid the majority of the $1,000 I could write three post dated checks for the rest of the amount within two months following.. I called around to other OB's and was told that Dr. Nelson and Dr. Trest are the only two OB's in Meridian that require a delivery fee to be paid prior to the delivery. So I switched Dr's.

I will forever be grateful for Dr Nelson, she is the reason my daughter is here today. She's also performed several procedures on me, most recently just 6 weeks ago. Having worked with her for 7 years, I've witnessed her give her self completely and selflessly to others. Her patients are given top notch care, that's why she's so loved and respected. I have learned so much from her and continue to do so as a patient. I've worked with other physicians and although I no longer work with her, I entrust her with my care and always will. She's the most caring physician I have encountered...that's a rarity these days!
