I was a student at the Mount Vernon Nazarene University majoring in Business Administration. For my first class the teacher was a vice president at Check Free
who had graduated from MVNU. His study guide showed my how to learn the
terms and concepts and resulted in my earning my first 4.0 grade. I worked full time
at Cooper Cameron while a student. Four years after graduation, my degree paid
off in landing a computer programming contract with the State of Ohio and a 50%
raise. The experience at MVNU with understanding and compassionate students
and professors gave me direction and hope. In addition I was given the inspiration
to share my faith and knowledge with future co-workers in the computer industry.

The Mount Vernon Nazarene University of Mansfield's schedule is very accommodating to those wanting to work and/or raise a family while they are going to school. In less than a two year span, I was able to receive my Master of Arts in Education degree while substitute teaching within local school districts. I also gained friends and business connections among my classmates and the excellent staff at MVNU MF.
