This incline kicks my butt every time! Bring plenty of water, sunscreen up, and if you go during the summer head there early in the day so that it is cooler! The incline has very little shade. I love making it a day trip down to the springs with friends and we usually grab lunch afterwards.

I don't know who the nutbags whose idea this was but I'm glad they did because I made it to the top. The trek down was also amazing. So many beautiful views. Bring lots of water and snacks for energy.

This was a pretty cool hike. We did the include and the hike back down around the mountain on Barr Trail. Nice views on the way up, and awesome views on the way back down. Whether trail running or hiking, this is a cool spot. Parking can be tough unless you get there early morning, so the alternative is to park in town (metered marking), and get a free shuttle up the trail-head.

The half way up is much harder for sure. But is worth having in a bucket list! Loved the experience. The hike down is a little long but very easy to do. Also gorgeous views.

I'll add my weight to the good reviews as far as the trail itself. Be warned: parking is a nightmare. It's expensive and often hard to find. You can shuttle in from Manitou, which may be easier.
If you're trying to get the best possible time, just look down and plow forward. You can enjoy the view once you arrive.
As far as times, under 20 minutes is world-class athlete. Under 30 minutes is possible only for well-trained, very fit people. Under 40 minutes is impressive. Under 50-60 minutes is typical for people of average fitness who don't take too many breaks.
Regardless of your time, finishing it is an accomplishment worth celebrating!
