My father inlaw is admited @ er today @ 9:00am for dizziness, shortness of breathing and minor chest pain. Nurses were very helpful in the beginning and all the needed test were done before 10:0am. I m waiting for the results and its 12:30 pm. He needed to go to the bathroom so I called the nurses for help but she was so jerk and 00 respects for patience choices. He didn’t want to use urinal to pee but she walked out without helping him. I had to call different nurses to take off stuffs they put on his body and I walked him to the bathroom 15 minutes later. The place is so crowded with staffs but too slow on caring patients.

I went to the ER at CMC after being told by the PA at Convenient MD in Bedford that I needed to go an ER. CMC is very close to where I live, so I thought it'd be best. I signed in, was immediately called to go over preliminary stuff, then immediately called for registration, and then immediately called to speak with the triage nurse. I was in a room in less than 15 minutes. I was suffering from severe pain and a fever, and the nurses and doctor sprung into action to help make me more comfortable. Everyone I dealt with was kind and gentle and very understanding of how I was feeling. I've been to ERs before where they think I'm just there to get pain meds and therefore brush me off and treat me like garbage, but the nurses and doctor at CMC never made me feel like that. They could tell I was in severe pain and just wanted to figure out what was wrong. No one particularly likes going to the ER, but if I need to again, I would go to CMC. I didn't give 5 stars because the facilities are a tad old and the technology they use (in the room) is a bit outdated. However- the MRI machine was new and was the most comfortable MRI machine I had ever been in, and the MRI staff was absolutely fabulous.

This is the worst experience ever at a hospital in the ER department the receptionist on duty on friday around 4pm has the worst ever attitude with patients and vistors i signed in the ER to visit my husband in the ER i sat in the waiting room for 1 hour and 18 mins and the receptionist never let me back to see him. The way he was treating the patients in the waiting room was very rude. People should not be treated that way. Most people dont even treat animals that way. I never did get to see my husband and he is by himself there. What kind of hospital is this. This is not right. I have called the complaint and know Iam waiting for them to call me all this took place on September 15th between the hours of 4pm and 515pm. I call my husband and told him if they keep him that he is to be transferred to the Elliot hospital where the treat patients like humans. Thank you Armand Singer

My father was admitted through the ER, very professional staff and great care. Doctors took their time to explain the treatment, listened and were very respectful. The nursing students and their instructors were great and provided attentive care. The regular nurses and LNAs were excellent as well and very nice. I do not usually post reviews but my father and I were very impressed with the CMC.
