This Office really lives up to it's name. I had a root canal done without ANY pain. Over the years, I've had several great experiences with their Doctors. They always explain what they're going to do in advance, and ensure that you remain comfortable during each procedure.
Also, this place is spotlessly clean, and the staff is professional and always friendly. I can't say enough good things about this Dentist Office, and would refer anyone to them. You won't be disappointed if you choose to go here.

I've been on the hunt for a home dentist office for the past 3 years. I have now been going to Gental Dental for the past 3 months & they BY FAR have the best staff, payment options and service! For all your dental needs (cleanings, fillings, crowns etc,) contact Dr. Amer & his team! Tell them Drew sent you!

The front house staff is very helpful! If I were leaving a review for them I would give them five stars.
I haven't been to my dentist in a while do to some issues that I am resolving. So when I had to call gentle dental to get in asap I was pleasantly happy they had an opening that day. Unfortunately, I do not have the best teeth and have been through the whole cavity and tooth infection routine many times. I had been to gentle dental once before and truly was Un happy with the work done but the dentist when pulling my tooth there was no regard for my comfort and what I had to say.
Figuring that I would just go in to get it looked at and get some antibiotics and pain relief, they would suffice just fine. Now I get there any the big issue is that I'm not choosing to see my dentist instead of them and why is that etc. I explain the situation to the front of the house.
Then I speak with the doctor who offers to have it pulled right away which is absolutely absurd when you have a tooth infections for two reasons 1. The potential for the infection to spread and 2. The novicane will not work. (I am not a dentist nor have I studied in the dentistry field but I have been told this by several professional dentists).
So from my experience the routine when there is an infection is to start antibiotic and a pain killer to help you until the antibiotic takes full affect. HavING been there before and knowing myself and what helps me get through this process, I ask for the same prescriptions I had before. The doctor told me "Oh you don't need that this other pain reliever will be just fine" . I said ok because if I continued to press on the issue I would be label as a drug seeker. If I know the process and know what actually works for pain for me how can a dentist tell me what will work and what will not. The high strength pain reliever helps me sleep and generally only get prescribed a few so I can have relief at night enough to sleep. Not I have to do my best after having been in pain alead for two days and little sleep to continue this way. This affects my job and my family relations as I'm in pain an have no sleep. I am very irritable and over all have to either lose money by taking work off or go to work miserable and run the risk of accident by not being able to function at my full awareness.
Overall I would not recommend gentle dental. The front of the house is extremely helpful but the service doesn't match. I would have been better off going to the urgent care or really any were else.

The staff and the dentist himself were very nice when I had a crumbled tooth that had become infected. I needed a root canal and a crown. Root canal went well, didn't feel a thing. The crown is where things became a pain. I had to go back three times, because the crown was not up to the dentist's standards, and I do appreciate that they were looking for quality. Meanwhile, I had a temporary cap that kept coming off, and I just wanted to get it over with. It has been just under a year since the permanent crown was put in, and it has already come off.
So, while the people are nice, I am not impressed with the work. It's okay for short term fixes, but not long term solutions.
EDIT: I went in and the dentist put the crown back on, cemented it in place, and only two weeks later IT HAS COME OFF AGAIN. I am less than impressed, and honestly getting pissed off about this single thing that was supposed to be fixed last year still being a problem.
This place is fine if you want a cleaning, but don't bother if you need extensive work done. It won't last.
