The Phila Deli in Boonsboro is 100 percent the most un-professional business i have ever seen. I have eaten there before, and the food seemed fine besides running to the restroom immediately after getting home. I only worked there a little less than a week before leaving because of what i saw in the kitchen and how i was treated as a worker. There is a thick layer of god knows what all over the kitchen walls. The daily cleaning routine that was supposed to be done was completely non-satisfactory. When sweeping, i tried to move a table aside to get behind there and was quickly told not to move it but not after seeing rat droppings everywhere. They do not make sure they use gloves while handling the meat or the cheese. The manager, Kelly, is a bully. She treated me with the most disrespect i have ever received from someone. She shoved and pushed me when she would get upset, and also cussed me out for asking for a tables order because i noticed she was busy, ( i thought i was helping ). So, needless to say, i quit very early. After quitting, the boss Dennis, started going to bars and businesses saying very inappropriate and extremely bad things about me along with another former employee. Saying quote "I wasn't worth a f**k," along with calling me a "piece of s**t" This is the most un-professional business and boss i have ever encountered and i deeply encourage everyone to not give them business. They treat their employees like trash and their customers as well by how they handle the food.
