Dr. Allen is not gentle at all! I never really cared for him, but we kept going because it was easy to get an appointment. Now I know why. He insisted I needed to get a crown on my front tooth...I had had a cap that stayed in for 12 years before this. I got hit in the face and it fell out. I told him I didn't want to shave the tooth in order to get a crown...I had most of my tooth still! He grudgingly put another cap on and it fell off in 2 months! The one I had before lasted 12 YEARS! And those were childhood years...when you get hit more often. Anyway, he insisted that it was going to keep happening if I didn't get the crown so I finally agreed, since he said it would be a permanent solution. This "permanent solution" didn't even last 1 year!!! I was literally sitting on the couch watching a movie and it started to get really loose. It was falling out an hour later. Some "permanent solution"!!! Don't let yourself be sucked in by the fact that you can get a quick appointment!! There's a reason for it!!!
