We (a party of five) waited for around an hour while we watched parties of 4 and even a party of nine, come in and instantly get seated. When we asked why they said the waiter or waitress was busy. That's a dumb excuse. When we got seated there were around 10 or 12 tables arou,d us that were plenty big enough and all completely empty.

This place has the best food. Their drinks and food are exceptional. I don't know why there are so many bad reports. This place is great! May I recommend the biscuits?

We have been here a few times while visiting Lubbock. Have always had a great experience. Even when the front door is packed, we have not had to wait long for a seat. The food has always begin good and they have a full bar.

Although the food was good, the service was very slow and management didn't think it was a big deal. We waited 10+ minutes at our table before we went back to the hostess station to ask where our waitress was at. Once she arrived and orders placed we waited awhile for the meal to arrive but once it did we were missing a side and we also ordered an additional drink (in which we went and got at the bar) our waitress told us the side would be out soon and it didn't arrive until we were finished with our meal.. we ask to speak to the manager in which he stated "oh I'm sorry". We did not want a "free" meal but would have liked to have been acknowledged of what maybe the restaurant could have done better..

Food and service was good once we were finally seated. We had a party of 6 and assumed they were putting a couple of tables together, but then they took us to a large booth and the restaurant was not busy at all. We waited 20 minutes to be seated when the restaurant was practically empty. The hostesses seemed more interested in talking to each other, rather than getting us seated.
