I had not been to the dentist in a few years because I just hate going to the dentist. Decided it was time for a checkup and so ended up making an appointment. I was dreading it up until I stepped foot in the office. The staff is super nice as well as the dentist. I felt really comfortable the whole time I was there. I love how they explain all your options and they never push for you to get any work done. They break down all your finances so there are no surprises later on.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. While Dr. Burden did a fantastic job on my wisdom teeth extraction the office staff is ridiculous. I paid $709 up front for the extraction which was fine. I understand that you may pay more/less depending on how your insurance processes the claim in the end. Then when I got the EOB from my insurance I was surprised to see that they’d paid more than expected which left me a refund due of $300 dollars.
I had my surgery in June and here we are in October and I still don’t have my money back. It’s been one excuse after another. I’ve gotten the run around from this staff and made to feel like I’m making unreasonable requests because I want my money back.
I bill insurance for a living and I know that it is considered insurance fraud by keeping money, and accepting a bigger payment, than what insurance companies allow. When I tried to explain this to the office manager I was cut off and told how wrong I was. The EOB clearly states "the patient is not responsible for these charges- processed at the contracted amount". When they cashed that insurance payment they agreed to accept the amount paid and not more. A little respect and being honest with your patients would go a long way!
I was told, several times, that they couldn't refund my card because the expiration dates had changed. Yet today, after threatening to call my insurance company, they suddenly want to refund my card. Well that would have been awesome a month ago- or 3 months ago! We had to have new cards issued due to our numbers being compromised last week.
I have been working with this site since the beginning of July and have been more than patient and understanding but now I am just furious with how I have been talked to and dealt with. I will be calling the BBB today, as well as my insurance, to file a fraudulent complaint.
*** edited to say that I did receive my refund on Saturday. Kristina, the new office manger, was very helpful in a stressful situation she just sort of walked into without warning.

This is one of the best dentist in Lubbock Texas by far. They are like a second family. If you ever need anything from them they're always there for you. And my teeth are awesome!!!!!!!😁

Everyone are super nice and sweet there. I love Kristi the hygienist and Dr. Parrott! They're very gentle. I highly recommend them.
