Check's is the heart and soul of Germantown. If you have a craving for some good comfort food, this is the place to go. They have chili and bean soup ready to order. They serve a tasty burger, fried chicken, fried fish, bratwursts, hot dogs...just look at the menu and you're bound to find something you like! Plus it's a place that, while it has undergone expansion and rejuvenation, still retains its old charm. The service is good, even when its busy and the line's practically out the door. Need a place to host a party? They have an upstairs space for rent. And the best part is, the prices are all very reasonable, too, especially considering how this place has gotten so much publicity and love. Check's has notoriety but hasn't forgotten its roots. Go there once, and I'm sure you'll want to go back.

Food is consistently delicious. I usually get the club sandwich and German potato salad, which is more than enough food. The chili is also amazing! Even when the place is packed the food comes out quickly.

A Germantown Icon. This local pub and restaurant is well known and loved by locals. The atmosphere reflects the community. It is a unique experience in that when you enter you proceed to the bar to place your food and drink order. Take a seat at a table and when your order is ready, servers will yell out your name and bring it to your table. The food is generally good. I especially recommend the fried pork Tenderloin sandwich. The place is usually crowded and noisy.

The staff is very nice and friendly. We were properly greeted and were treated well. The food was very large but the flavor was satisfactory. Prices are right and they let us use two coupons! How can you argue that?

Omg first time coming into this cafe. Little nervous walking in. You have to order at the bar. But the food was amazing! World class the price was perfect ! A young man named Logan came outside and cleaned out table - refilled our drinks - smiled. Great service ! Sheena was this very energetic made our whole table smile.
Over all great place. Highly recommend everyone to stop by!! To the owners of checkers cafe thank you. Great job!!!
