My wife and I got engaged at Buck's in 2014, and recently celebrated there again after our wedding. The entire experience was a delight from beginning to end. Beginning with a warm welcome from the stellar piano player, to fabulous service from the manager Karen, to an excellent and memorable dinner that all our guests raved about, Buck's is a truly special place that everyone should visit at least once.
We'll be back every year on our anniversary.

We had appetizers and drinks there early on a Thursday evening. There was a piano player who was good though he didn't play long while we were there. The food and was good and the hostess was friendly. There were a lot of regulars there. A place to try if you are near Old Historic Louisville.

Amazing steaks! The Mocha Dacquoise is a must try. We went for a birthday and the entire staff made it one of the most memorable birthdays. They treat you like you are someone important. I can't wait to go back.

I'm shocked by all the glowing reviews because my lunch was absolutely terrible. Dining room was tacky and dated. Service was barely passable. My burger was so salty it stung my mouth. My wife ordered her burger medium, but it came blue rare. She actually had to go back for a work lunch another day. She ordered a BLT, which was covered with soggy fried green tomatoes and what she described as "gross spicy mayonnaise." Maybe dinner is different, but I would go elsewhere for lunch.

Food is amazing! This place has a cool location and atmosphere. White tablecloths on the table. Live piano player. Very friendly. Expect to spend $75-$100 for an appetizer and 2 entrees depending on what you order. Very much enjoyed our dinner there and will be back.
