My parents moved to the area in 1966 with the intention of enrolling my then 6 year old brother into 1st grade because he had breathing difficulties and everything was on one floor. Needless to say, 44 years later, my mother is still a member of the parish and my brother (and another) and myself all graduated from Saint Leonard School. Years later looking for a new school for my then 3rd grade daughter and son who would be entering Kindergarten, we looked at many different schools in the area and ultimately chose Saint Leonard School - it felt like HOME! They have since graduated: The oldest of two is a graduate of Assumption High School and is now a junior in college. My kindergartner is now a frequent honor roll member and senior at Saint Xavier High School. I believe that the education they received at Saint Leonard gave them a fantastic foundation for their future - I thank all those responsible for that gift! Even though the teaching staff has changed somewhat over the years, the warmth and welcoming environment is always prevalent. I would and will always highly recommend the wonderful community of Saint Leonard to anyone who has a child of any age!
