Best hookah bar in Louisville! Friendly staff and the food is phenomenal! Try the chicken shawerma wrap.

I attended "Wine down Wednesday 7 until 12" which is an excellent concept to boost midweek sales and future promotion of the venue. The crowd consisted of 20s to late 40s. The DJ was decent with mixing but repeated too many songs. The food was nothing to right home about;Something you could get out of your freezer. The main issue that I had was with management. They only had one waitress. They needed at least 2 to 3 based on the crowd of 50 to 100. They only had 2 POS stations which caused a back up at the bar area. The only person who looked and acted like he had a clue as to what was going on was the strawberry blond bartender.
The one waitress was good but overwhelmed with the crowd and lack of support. I don't blame her at all...it goes back to management. I then travelled to the restroom . The 1st stall door did not close due to the toilet being in the middle of floor. 😐 It was cleaner then some other restrooms in the city.
Travelling back to my seat I noted tables had not been cleared of food, drink items. Again, lack of staff. Overall, it's cool to hang out for a bit...but don't go with high expectations.

Really bad food, we went with friends, it took over 2 hours for food to finally come out in waves. It wasn't very good and was cold and obviously not fresh. Only two people working that night, running the bar, filling drinks, and heating up food. Not a good place for dinner maybe lunch but I'm not going back. The environment isn't very friendly, full of commotion.

Went to Vis a Vis for some hookah and drinks. It was a nice place well put together and overall more open and well lit than other hookah lounges I've been too. Music was tasteful and at an appropriate level for conversations. The bartender made great drinks and was very nice. The hookah pack was very well done and was tended to so it didn't get harsh or ashy. I would definitely recommend this place it seemed unknown for a place as good as it is.
Side note: I didn't try the food but it looked amazing and I regret not ordering anything.
