Great tour slightly too long. But we had a great time and learn lots about Hollywood in the darker side of things.

Did a tour with these guys. They have some fun concepts and really know what they are doing. Lots of fun

I had an absolute BLAST on this tour and would recommend it to anybody visiting the area. Our tour guide, Brian, was amazing and showed the tour a great time. He's a hoot! Really interesting history and scandal around town and Brian brought all of the stories to life. Thanks again, guys. I'll be back next time I'm in LA!

In 2011 I made the mistake of trusting "just any" Hollywood tour. It wasn't until I discovered Dearly Departed Tours (especially the awesome Manson DVD), that I realized that I had been duped. If you want the real scoop on Hollywood legends, tidbits that only a genuine Hollywood aficionado would be privy to, morbidly entertaining humor, and an atmosphere of classic nostalgia....well, look no further than Dearly Departed Tours. I make a visit each time I am in LA and I am never disappointed. I would encourage anyone to visit their museum, purchase the amazing DVD's, and take one of their passionately researched tours.

It's an interesting theme for a tour and I had high expectations versus other tours. Parts of the tour were interesting but our guide Brian was not to my taste. He did not stop talking for 2 minutes during the 3hr tour. This would be fine except 70% of what he said was irrelevant personal stories and anecdotes. I know his birthday, how he spent his last few birthdays, his history with girlfriends, many of the dates he has been on, his dentures, where he lives, I've seen a lot of photos that he has taken, reviews of films he has watched and how many times he has seen Rocky Horror Picture Show. I couldn't tell you much about celebrity deaths in LA though. I feel bad because he seems like a very nice guy but I left with a headache and was desperate to get off the bus. If you want a tour of LA I'd suggest looking elsewhere, if you're interested in Brian's theories of numerology and UFOs, go for it!
