Take the tour! Amy was our guide and the tour was full of great history, funny stories and interesting revelations on some common phrases. Do you know where the word "toaster" comes from?
Check the website to see if they will have any reinactors on site. That was a great surprise!

Not really a whole lot to see, I'd recommend maritime and national guard museum instead or the MacArthur museum.
However, the Historic museum does have some amazing knives and swords on display, when I visited Hands on History was closed and I've heard that's basically half the reason to visit it. So, contact them, make sure the hands on history is open before you go there I'd say.
