Service was horrible, the tables were dirty, the waiter took your glasses to refill them not even bringing you another glass so you don't know what is happening to your drink while not in-front of you (normally when you ask for a refill they just bring another drink to the table), She took a mans beer from the table that wasn't even half gone she took the other people drink orders and didn't even ask if we needed something to drink instead just brought the salad and soup out, we waited over 30 mins for a cook to get to the grill and when he was there is was nothing but a rush to get done, steaks were way over cooked and the veggies and rice were cold when he put it on our plate, portions were not divided evenly, 18% gratuity was added automatically to the check for two people 18% was not deserved in the least bit. It was just a horrible experience all around, I will not be returning.

I've been a loyal customer for 10+ years and in the last year the service has become inexcusable. You spend more time waiting than you do dining. It took almost 20 minutes just to get water and we waited another 30+ to pay. We actually had to go track down an employee for the check. No server checks on you, no server refills drinks or asks how you're doing. It's become a horrible restaurant. Will never go back to Shoguns and will be finding a new regular sushi joint.

Editing my original review, we had been going there every year for 4 years, they charge for rice which is rediculous ($3.50), and then there was barely any rice given out. The price for the filled steak was the highest of anywhere I have been in the country for Japanese hibachi. The server staff seemed to be overwhelmed often counting on the hostess to fill drinks.

Great service, amazing show. Always have a blast with the group of people I come with. If there were one thing I would change, it would be more food for the price the meal is. Little expensive, but the entertainment balances that bill. I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good dinner experience.

My boyfriend and I love this restaurant. We keep trying to go other places for date night, but always end up disappointed unless we went to Shogun. I haven't had a single thing I don't like. I love the atmosphere, and having the food cooked fresh infront of you is amazing. And the entertainment of it is so fun! The cooks are always very friendly and know how to get us laughing. The alcohol beverages are wonderful as well. Prices are a bit high, but for the quality, quantity, and service it's well worth it.
