PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING IN
My hair salon horror story.
Ive been to many hair salons, gotten so many different colors & cuts, good and bad. But I will never step foot in a salon after this one. Its been about 2 weeks since I went in for a color. I already had a brown at the top, super light blonde at the bottom ombre. I went in for a consultation and told them I wanted something edgy, burgendy at the top and silvery at the bottom. The stylist Nick advised me against it saying silver was unobtainable, but the other stylist Pam (the one who I was unfortunately schedualed with) told me not to listen to him when he walked away and sat me down assuring me she knew what she was doing. I'll try to skip the minor details. So she sat me down, began bleaching my already bleached hair without telling me, put neon purple color over my brown assuring me it wasnt, and "toned" over the bleach with a purple-ish silver. After we washed it out and began to dry it, I was HORRIFIED. My short roots were basically black/purple, the brown was a gross dark yellow that BLUNTY (not fading like a normal ombre) went into a light lavender silver. So she freaked out and said we'll fix it. Began putting darker purple over the yellow/purple, and this time put grey/purple over the silver, assuring me it would turn out right this time. Left it in for a ridiculous amount of time, while in the hair-dryer-chair (dont know the name of those) and then washed it out again. This time after we dried it, my hair was so dark purple it was almost black at the top, and a neon purple/blue /grey at the bottom. Didn't apologize, just said its not what you wanted but it looks great, I like it. Still charged me FULL PRICE ($200) despite everything. On top of it all, its like they tried to make up for it by offering me a job there that I wasn't qualified for, and then immediatly turned me for after I had already paid and sealed my fate with this ridiculous hair. So here I am, two weeks later, with purple/brown/yellow/lavender hair (spotty and fading due to washing, really showing how horrible of a job she actually did) and the worst part, about 3-4 inches of hair at my ends are so fried they feel like hay no matter how I treat them, and so much has broken off my hair is uneven and looks choppy and is about 2 inches shorter already JUST from damage/breakage. I just moved here and am looking for a job, which is a lot harder now with bright purple hair. My self confidence is at an all time low, and im scarred for life from hair salons. So THANKS A LOT PAM for ruining my hair in every way possible short of taking a blow torch to it.
My advice? If you insist on going to this joke of a salon, at least go to Nick, the stylist who seemed to know a few things about hair, considering Pam had to ask questions/advice from him every two minutes about how to do this/that (things I EVEN KNEW THE ANSWERS TO)
Or, just save yourself the risk of years of hair-repair, and PLEASE go to a different salon. Please.

First of all, the lady who did my hair I would definitely recommend! I believe I went to the salon on sunset. I really liked that the manager would come and check on the progress of my hair and it turned out amazing! I love it! The color turned out great and sooooo even! I had gotten it done a month or two prior in Anchorage at Regis and the lady who did my hair (I can't remember her name! She's very pretty, shoulder length brown hair) was able to fix it. Very happy with their service.

I wanted to wait for a few return trips before I wrote a review. This being my 3rd time this year. I have seen 2 different stylists And both were absolutely amazing. My hair just feels so much better with their Paul Mitchell color and the awapuhe treatment.
The hair cut both times was off the chart. I got so many compliments from fellow workers and at the pet store where I work. This location is kinda quiet but you get so much more personal attention. Their prices are a little more than I am used to paying in the east coast, but so are the gas prices. The quality of service is first class so the price does not really affect me that much.

Had such a lovely day there. It was a wonderful experience. They are the sweetest people ever. They help you in anyway they possibly can. I wasn't able to get the hair I wanted but with the treatment they helped me with I will have it in no time.Very professional in what they were doing and explained everything step by step as they were going along. Highly recommend them. :)
